SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Please refer to the Superfest Synopsis, Frequently Asked Questions and Awards for more specific information about our film competition. Please contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to receiving your entry, and hope you will spread the word about our festival.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS



1. Work must be on the subject of disability.
2. Work must have been produced within the last 11 calendar years (since January 1, 1999 for entry in Superfest 2010.)
3. Entries for Superfest 2010 must be postmarked on or before January 15th, 2010, no exceptions.
4. All submissions must be in NTSC DVD Region 1 format.
5. Foreign films must be sublititled in English.
6. Send 2 copies of your film to assist with the judging process.

   Superfest strongly encourages filmmakers to provide captioning and audio description so that films are accessible to the widest possible audience. For information and referrals on captioning films, click here.

Discounts

Criteria	Discount $
Early Bird submissions (postmarked by 12/15/2009)	deduct $10.00 from base rate
Shoestring production (self-distributing and budget less than $10,000)	deduct $20.00 from base rate

Discounts are cumulative, so you could save up to $30 on each entry. We do not have any discounts for multiple entries. Please make check payable to "CDT." We currently do not accept credit cards. If you would like to send an international bank wire, please contact us for our bank information.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

1. Complete the 3-page entry form and double-check totals and information.
2. Check that media is in an acceptable format (NTSC DVD region 1).
3. Mail entry form, 2 dvd film copies, return envelope with postage, and entry fee payable to "CDT" to:

FINAL NOTES:

Judging takes place in Spring 2010, and winners will be announced on or around April 1st, 2010. (Announcements will be sent via e-mail to the contact person listed on the entry form.) Winners will be screened Berkeley in June 2010, and all entries will be listed in the festival catalogue. Winners will be asked to provide still production photos and film copies for publicity purposes.

 

This festival is funded solely by entry fees, small grants, and individual contributions.
